Inspiration for this piece came from @mindbendrlee on Instagram, he stated that it would be cool to see ‘Vessel’ in my art style with my twist on the weaponry/abilities. This sparked my creativity and I instantly thought of the music video for Alkaline where ‘V’ was in control of this giant spider.
My inspiration kept flowing and it led me to combine this visual with the ‘Chokehold’ character, fusing both to show ‘V’ as the spider, having taken full control, this also signified overcoming his mental battles/struggles and embracing them, changing into something new entirely.
