Inspiration for this piece came from @_lani_mask_ on Instagram. This man is the genius behind the latest era of masks worn by ‘II’, ‘III’& ‘IV’ and with such a drastic appearance from their former masks, I wanted to reflect on the past, whilst embracing the future of the band.
’II’ was my first port of call to draw. I wanted there to be symbolism of being thankful for everything that has been achieved thus far under his last mask, whilst simultaneously anticipating all of the untapped potential that is yet to come under the new mask.
